Designer for a Day in Portland

Real Design. Real Decisions. Real Momentum.

Designer for a Day

A bookended design intensive: pre-work alignment, a focused day on-site, and a follow-up to make sure the plan becomes the room.

This isn't a consultation. It's a four-phase engagement built around one high-impact design day — with an intro call to prepare and a follow-up call to keep momentum.

You leave with direction, momentum, and a clear plan you can actually execute.

No lingering. No spinning. No overwhelm.

How it Works

01 · Intro Video Call

A focused video call built around a comprehensive questionnaire. We assess your space, set clear goals, and plan the design day in detail together. By the time we walk through your door, we've already done the thinking and arrive ready to design.

02 · The Design Day

A working day in your home. Layout, paint and color direction, furniture selection, window treatments, lighting, rugs, and storage solutions tailored to how you live. Lunch included. Hands-on and collaborative throughout.

6 hours · On-site in your home
Written Plan + Shopping List · Delivered within one week

03 · Written Plan + Shopping List

A structured written summary of the plan and a curated retail shopping list so you can confidently move forward at your own pace.

45 minutes · 2–3 weeks after the design day

04 · Follow-Up Video Call

We reconnect to check in on your progress, serve as your accountability partner, and answer questions that have come up as you've started executing. This is the call that makes sure the plan actually becomes the room.

Clarity & Direction - Fast

We help you move from stuck to confident—so you can move forward knowing you’re making the right choices.

“I’ve been staring at the same unfinished room for months.”

A modern chandelier with multiple glass globes hangs from the ceiling, and an abstract painting with pastel and earthy tones is mounted on the wall behind the table.

Keeping What’s Important

We honor what matters most to you—and make it work beautifully in your space.

“Can I really have a beautiful, updated home without letting go of the pieces that matter most?”

Accountability Built In

The follow-up call isn't an afterthought — it's the difference between a beautiful plan and a finished room. We check in, problem-solve, and keep you moving.
