A once forgettable powder room became a whimsical jewel box —layered with saturated color, moody pattern, and luminous brass details that make the smallest room feel like a moment.

The Story:

This Alameda powder room started exactly where so many do: blank and totally non-descript—functional, but not memorable. Our goal was to transform it into a space with personality and presence… the kind of room guests talk about after they leave.

The Design:

We leaned into bold, nature-inspired drama: a deep teal botanical-and-fauna wallpaper that wraps the walls and ceiling for an immersive feel. From there, every detail was chosen to sparkle against that rich backdrop—warm brass, sculptural glass, and updated plumbing fixtures that keep the space feeling fresh instead of heavy.

The final layer was all about the “jewelry.” A statement light creates a flattering glow, a slim brass mirror adds softness and shine, and the original vintage-inspired crystal knob brings a little wink of charm and preserves the history of the home. The result is a powder room that feels collected, elevated, and completely unforgettable—proof that small spaces can make the biggest impact.
